Snack Time – Syn Free Red Pepper Hummous and Carrot Sticks

 

Now like a lot of other people out there, I’m grazer. I love to snack and if I’m not careful I can eat my way through a packet of biscuits before nightfall. That’s why I like to have syn free snacks to hand! Whenever I’m feeling a little peckish or if I just fancy a nibble. Completely syn free nibbles can satisfy the need to eat, whilst being completely guilt free.

The reason I love hummous and carrot sticks so much, is that it goes a long way to increasing your speed food intake throughout the day. It’s also quick and easy, the perfect combination!

Syn Free Red Pepper Hummous
A completely syn free hummous, which is also packed with speed foods.

Instructions
  1. Chop the red pepper and remove the seeds. Place on a baking tray, spray with frylight and roast until soft.
  2. Once the pepper is ready, add all the other ingredients to a food processor and whizz until it forms a smooth paste.
  3. If the mixture seems to thick, add a little water until the right consistency is achieved.
  4. Chop the carrots into snackable sticks and get dipping!
